Pages#
Pages are the most common content type in most Plone sites.
Like every other type of content item, a page includes:
a title
a summary, or description
a body
The body of a page is composed of blocks, such as:
headings
text
images
listings
There are many other types of blocks, and we will cover them further below.
Here we show how to create a new page.
Create a New Page#
How to create a new page containing text blocks only.
You must be logged in.
Click the add item button.
Click Page.
Click Type the title... and type a title, e.g., "My New Page!", then press Enter .
Pressing Enter completes the current text block and starts a new one immediately below.
You can format the text using the editor shortcuts and the markdown shortcuts shown in the right column.
You can drag a block up or down the page using the drag handle to the left of each block.
Click the Save button at the top left corner to save the page.
